Haven't gotten round to doing a lot of drawing lately, because of
moving to a new studio. Hope to pick it up again in the weeks to
come...

Man

Time to sketch a man. Did this sketch from a photo reference (Juliette
Aristides book)...

Live model session

Had a chance to draw from live model tonight. First I made a quick
linear sketch, the second one was a tone study. Still some strange
twitches in the face, can't really lay my finger on them. Anyhow, the
end result looks esthetic enough to me. (Maybe more thanks to the
model than to me..)

Valkhof Park Nijmegen (Holland)

A few days ago I went outside to draw with fellow artist Michel
Alders. We went to Nijmegen's Valkhof park which has a medieval
chapel. My attention was caught however, by this elderly couple,
sitting on a bench under the trees in the park. They were lit by the sun shining through the trees..
